The NIELIT ‘O’ Level examination for July 2026 cycle is scheduled to be conducted from July 11, 2026. Practical examinations are scheduled to be held from July 25, 2026 onwards. Candidates can download their NIELIT 'O' level admit card 2026 from the Student Portal, student.nielit.gov.in.

The National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT) was announced the availability of NIELIT ‘O’ Level examination application form at student.nielit.gov.in. The online examination application form (OEAF) was available from May 8, 2026. The last date to register for the NIELIT ‘O’ Level July 2026 examination cycle was May 25, 2026 for both direct and institute candidates.

Before filling the NIELIT ‘O’ Level registration form, the candidate has to update his or her profile. This is an onetime activity. Candidate should be ready with the following:
Candidates must the steps given below to fill up the NIELIT ‘O’ Level Exam Form for July 2026 cycle:

Step 2: Email ID & Mobile Number Verification
Step 3: User Creation
On the ‘My Dashboard’, you will get the Profile Notifications, depending upon the details pertaining to your candidature available in the admission records.

Step 1: Upload Photograph, Signature & LTI
Step 2: Update Your Mobile Number
Step 3: Update Your Correspondence Address Details
Add your correspondence address details properly
Step 4: Update Your Personal Details
Enter your personal details, such as Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Guardian Name, and Gender
Step 5: Lock Your Profile
After filling out all the required areas in the form, lock your profile.
Note that once you lock the profile, you cannot modify it any more. Further, unless you lock your profile, you can not apply for any NIELIT Examination Online.

While filling the NIELIT ‘O’ Level Examination Application Form, the candidate has to pay the applicable fees to complete the registration.
Applicants who could not clear the NIELIT ‘O’ level within the stipulated time can re-register for once at the same level for another full term (i.e. 5 years for O/A level and 6 years for B/C levels) to clear the remaining modules (theory/practical/project etc.) by applying Online Re-Registration application Form and the fee for re-registration within one year after the expiry of the validity period of existing Registration.
